Users who use the services offered by Worldy declare that they have read, understood and accepted these general terms and conditions of use. General information about Worldy

Worldy is a platform designed to connect travelers with locals offering experiences and activities in the cities where the service is active, in order to book or buy them. The Platform is accessible from the website www.beworldy.com or in the form of an application for mobile devices.
In these Terms and Conditions, these terms are used and defined as follows:
Local Friend
The Local Friend are the providers of the offers that users can buy on Worldy. They are defined as such when their profile appears online on the platform and can receive reservations through Worldy after specific selection and registration.
The Local Friend is not a full-time occupation nor a profession, but one who makes his time and his passions and knowledge available to create a unique activity, experience or path and make it available to people of any nationality. The relationship between Worldy and the Local is governed by a specific occasional independent service contract. If you do not have a touist guide or tour leader license, you are forced to comply with the obligations regarding tourism as indicated by law.
Any individual who has created an account to use the Platform.
Any natural person who purchases an experience and / or activity for himself or on behalf of third parties and makes a reservation through the Platform.
Indicates the account that must be created in order to access the services offered by the Platform.
All services provided by Worldy through the Platform.
The interface that allows Users to chat with their Local Friend to get organized and ask for information about the event, activity or experience. The chat will automatically appear at the time of purchase and will be personal between the User and the Local Friend chosen.
We mean meetings, such as, by way of example and not limited to: breakfasts, lunches, sports activities, aperitifs, dinners, after dinner, in clubs, restaurant activities or culinary experiences inside the premises of the local, etc.
"Worldy Experiences" platform
The application that can be downloaded by Users and which allows them the use of the Service.

Service for Users

Worldy is an online platform for travelers seeking to interact with locals in the cities where the service is open, conceived and designed to offer them hidden tours, food experiences, sports experiences, family experiences and other exceptional activities. By making a reservation through our Platform, users enter into a direct relationship with the Local Friend with whom they make the reservation. From the moment in which the reservation is made, Worldy acts exclusively as an intermediary between the user and the Local Friend. Through the Platform, Worldy offers a booking service for activities that are performed directly by the locals. Worldy is not a party to any agreement between user and Local Friend and is not responsible for any (attributable) default or other damages arising out of this relationship. With each booking it is required that at least one person aged 18 and over be present during the experience.

Service for Local Friends

Worldy is an online platform for locals looking to interact with travelers from around the world or other locals to offer them the most authentic and unique experiences, tours and activities. We are a market in which the demand (travelers or inhabitants) meets the offer (Local Friend). Worldy offers citizens, local guides or tour leaders the opportunity to offer tours and activities to travelers through the platform (website and app) as well as through partnerships with other companies. Worldy promotes the profile and offers of the Local Friend.

User Provided Content

The contents provided by the User (gender, age, nationality, languages spoken, interests, images and anything else that may concern personal information requested), are used to make their status known exclusively to the Local Friend of the purchased experience and not to others. users using the service, so that they can come into contact with locals who live or are in the same locality, are of the same age and / or share interests (passions, culture and sport).

Contents provided by Local Friend

The contents provided by the Local Friend (gender, age, nationality, languages spoken, interests, images and anything else that may concern personal information requested, as well as any other type of content including photos or videos), are used to make your own status to any User downloading the app. On the profile of each Local friend, even without having purchased the experience, each User can check the percentage of affinity they have with that Local based on their interests included in creating the profile. Users and Local Friends are responsible for their own and third-party content they share on Worldy, by uploading and / or inserting content in any way. Users indemnify the Owner from any liability in relation to the illicit dissemination of third party content or the use of Worldy in a manner contrary to the law. Worldy will not make any type of modification relating to the content published by the User or by third parties, but undertakes to intervene in the face of reports from Users or orders / reports issued by public authorities in relation to content deemed offensive or contrary to regulations of law.

Content Provided by Third Parties

Part of the data relating to partner activities, places of culture, restaurants or city places (and related services) to which the User has access, may come exclusively, as well as from Worldy, also from the partners themselves and from API services provided by YELP, Google, or TripAdvisor etc. Under no circumstances can Worldy be held responsible for the correct functioning or availability, or both, of services provided by third parties.

Registration and creation of a profile

In order to use the Service or part of it, Users must register by providing, in a truthful and complete manner, all personal data requested in the relative registration form and fully accept the privacy policy (https://www.beworldy.com/privacy .html) and these general conditions. They will be able to register from the website and / or from the app. To register, you must have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions of use and the privacy policy. (https://www.beworldy.com/privacy.html) On the basis of these general conditions of use, users declare that they have provided true, correct, updated and complete data on their identity or that of the person in whose name they book the activity. Users will be solely responsible for the accuracy of the data provided to Worldy and for any consequences that may arise from the errors of the information communicated. Users will have full responsibility for the use of their account, therefore they will be solely responsible for the confidentiality and security of their account. Users will have the responsibility of keeping their login credentials (email and password). Should they lose their password, they can select the "Login" menu item and click on the "Forgot password?" they will be able to request another one that will be automatically sent to the email address provided at the time of registration. Any unauthorized use by third parties must be immediately reported to Worldy. In particular, Users must inform Worldy of any loss, theft or misuse of the password or other personal identification elements.

Downloading "Worldy Experiences" Application

The Worldy Experiences application is available for download from the Google Play Store and Apple Store. By downloading the Worldy Experiences Application, the User undertakes not to behave in a manner that could cause damage to other Users and Local friends (by way of example but not limited to: insults, slanders, bullying practices, improper use of data from other Users and Local friends and any other person involved).

Worldy registration

After downloading the Worldy Experiences application, the User can register using the registration form by entering their personal data: name, email, password, nationality and will receive an email confirming the registration. Once you have registered, you will have the possibility to enter other information up to the percentage of 100% completion of your profile, for example, surname, nickname, language, city, birthday, gender. Furthermore, you will be able to select your interests and passions among the 142 present.
The user may also express his consent to the processing of personal data for subscription to the newsletter, and for the sharing of his data to third parties for marketing purposes. It is always possible to revoke the consent given, as provided in our privacy policy. The User accepts that the personal data requested during registration will form his Profile and will therefore be partially known by Local Friends. At the time of purchase by the User, the Local Friend will only see the photo, name and nationality of the user who booked his experience. By registering with the Worldy application, the User therefore accepts that the aforementioned data are used in line with the nature and purpose of this application and in accordance with the specific privacy information (https://www.beworldy.com /privacy.html).

Conditions of booking

To book an experience or an activity, you must be 18 years of age or older. By accessing and registering on the Platform, the User declares and guarantees that he is 18 years of age or older. The registered user will enter the home page. You can book the experience you prefer in different ways:

  • Worldy recommendation based on selected interests
  • Search
  • Map
  • From the Local Friend's profile
  • Favorites
Once you have read the experience / activity sheet and chosen the one you prefer, the User, by clicking on the "book" button, can choose and select in detail:
  • participants
  • the days and times available
  • the payment method.
Please note that a standard price is indicated for children from 0-10 years which is € 10, if you book individually instead there will be a supplement of € 25 on the single.

Review and reports

Once the experience or activity is over, in order to keep the quality of our experiences and our Local Friends high, we ask, by means of a specific notification, to leave an evaluation to your Local Friend and to the activity that has just ended. The Local Friend review will take place through various numerical parameters, you are asked to give a value from 0 to 100 in: communication, availability, attention to detail, preparation, punctuality, friendliness. As for the experience, you can instead leave a written review and a 1 to 5-star rating. Worldy reserves the right not to publish opinions and / or reviews the content of which is obscene, threatening, defamatory, or violates the privacy of third parties. Under no circumstances will opinions be published whose content may include: discriminatory expressions for reasons of race, sex, religion, opinion, nationality, disability, or for any other circumstance; expressions that promote violence against a person or a specific group of individuals.

How to earn Worldy points and how to spend them

Using the Worldy app gives you the opportunity to earn points from your actions.

Once the threshold of 1000 Worldy points has been reached, each User and Local friend will have the opportunity to convert their points and purchase a coupon. These digital coupons and codes were designed in collaboration with Up2You to reduce CO2 emissions by supporting projects around the world. From your profile you will be able to monitor the results achieved by Worldy and yourself.

Promotional periods

The promotional periods are managed by Worldy and can have a variable duration. During the promotional periods, it will be possible to participate for free in one or more experiences through a special coupon to be inserted at the time of payment. Worldy reserves the right to change promotional periods over time.

Promotional offers

Promotional offers may include discounts on Worldy paid services and may vary in duration. Worldy reserves the right to change promotional offers over time.

Service interruption

The Worldy Owner reserves the right to remove and / or add functionalities or features of the service in question, or to suspend or completely interrupt the provision of the same, both temporarily and definitively.

Permitted use

Users cannot:

  • for any reason, writing a bogus or defamatory review, negotiating reviews with other companies, or paying someone or getting paid to write or remove a review;
  • Threatening, stalking, harming or harassing other Users or promoting forms of bigotry or discrimination;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify or create derivative works based on Worldy or any portion of it;
  • bypass the computer systems used by Worldy or its licensors to protect content accessible through it;
  • copy, store, modify, change, prepare derivative works or alter in any way any of the content provided by Worldy;
  • use any robot, spider, site search / retrieval application, or any other automated device, process or means to access, retrieve, scrape or index any portion of Worldy or its content;
  • rent, lease or sublease Worldy;
  • defame, offend, harass, threaten, threaten or otherwise violate the rights (such as the right to privacy and publicity) of others;
  • disseminate or post illegal, obscene, illegitimate, defamatory or inappropriate content;
  • create more than one personal account unless you also want to create a Local Friend account.
  • providing false personal information about Worldy;
  • use the Worldy channels (for example via private messages / chats or on dedicated message boards) to promote sexual encounters, products, activities or initiatives not strictly related to Worldy services without the explicit consent of the Owner;
  • use Worldy in any other improper manner which violates these Terms;
  • violate any law in force in the above-mentioned matters.

Suspension and / or cancellation of the ACCOUNT

If the user's actions do not comply in form and substance with the terms and conditions of Worldy or create economic or legal risks for the company, Worldy reserves the right to stop the partial or complete provision of all services to the user itself and block its profile immediately.


Through the platform, Worldy collects personal data communicated at the time of registration and other personal information that can subsequently be communicated by Users. Applicability of the Terms and Ethical Code

Any use of our website and / or our services, as a website visitor, user or Local Friend, constitutes an agreement on all terms and conditions and ensures that users understand and accept all terms and conditions contained herein. Local friends on the platform and users who use the platform are invited to follow the indications of Worldy's Ethical Code, indicated in its entirety in the "Ethical Code".

User Booking Conditions and Cancellation Policy and Refunds

All reservations made through Worldy (on the website or app) are automatically transferred to the requested Local Friend, who will automatically receive an email confirming the reservation and a notification from the app. In fact, the recap of the reservation will appear in your reserved area with the user's specifications, date and time of meeting. The reservation will be automatically confirmed at the chosen time and date and with the requested Local Friend; there will be no need for further confirmation from the Local. In the event that problems arise, Worldy will always try to meet the user's needs and will help him find the best solution to request a Local Friend change, time or date. Users undertake to pay Worldy which guarantees on the reservation service. A reservation is only valid if confirmed by Worldy via email and app. Users who make a reservation with Worldy understand and accept our cancellation and refund policy. Cancellation is subject to the following refund rules: Gastronomic experiences

  • Reservation up to 18 hours in advance
  • Cancellation under 6 hours -> no refund
  • Cancellation between 6 and 12 hours -> 50% refund
  • Cancellation over 12 hours 100% refund

All other categories of experiences and activities
  • Reservation up to 3 hours in advance
  • Cancellation under 4 hours -> no refund
  • Cancellation between 4 and 12 hours -> 50% refund
  • Cancellation over 12 hours 100% refund

Local Friend calendar reservations

All the availabilities entered through the appropriate Worldy calendar commit Local Friends to provide the booked service. Local Friends understand that cancellations and transfers have a negative impact on guest satisfaction and will impact their performance on the Platform in terms of ratings and tips. Local Friends Worldy are of course informed of the cancellation policy.

Payment terms and conditions

When making a reservation, the full amount must be paid in advance. The reservation will be confirmed after the completion of the reservation process and the successful execution of the payment. The User will receive an email with an attached receipt from Banca Intesa San Paolo, as confirmation of the payment of the booked service. The amount paid corresponds to the services indicated in the experience and activity presentation form, therefore any product, service, consumption not expressly indicated in the form will be the responsibility of the User. From the full amount, after the booked event has been satisfactorily carried out, a percentage is calculated and paid to the Local Friend. All payments are made through integrated Nexi payment services and it is possible to pay by credit card, debit card, prepaid card, debit card or PayPal. Users are free to choose any of the payment methods provided.

Proprietary material & Copyright

Worldy content may not be used or copied without Worldy's express permission. All text, graphics, editorial content, data, formatting, graphics, designs, HTML, graphics, photographs, music, sounds, images, software, videos, the designs, typefaces and other content (collectively "Proprietary Material") on this website is owned by Worldy or is used with the permission of the owner. This proprietary material is protected in all forms, media and technologies. Users may not copy, download, use, redesign, reconfigure or retransmit anything from this website or app without Worldy's prior written permission. Any use by the User not previously authorized, of the aforementioned contents will be considered a serious violation of intellectual property rights and will incur the legal consequences enshrined in law.

Quality of the information provided by Local Friends

While we make every effort to verify the quality of the events hosted by our Local Friends, we cannot guarantee that they will be flawless and we cannot guarantee that all content on our website or App is error-free. In the event of a misleading representation or misconduct on our website or in the context of events organized by Local Friends through our website and / or services, we may decide, in our sole discretion, to credit the user with a refund for the amount of the paid reservation or part of it and decide to charge this amount to the Local Friend through a penalty as per contract. None of our actions can be construed as acceptance of any liability other than that mentioned herein. When we render our service, the contents disclosed are based on the information provided to us by Local Friends. While we will use reasonable skill and care in performing our service and verifying (most of) Local Friends, we cannot guarantee that all information is accurate, complete and / or correct. Each Local Friend remains responsible at all times for the accuracy, completeness and correctness of the information (descriptive) displayed on our platform. In its capacity as an intermediary, Worldy cannot be held responsible for incorrect, incomplete and inaccurate information provided by the Locals. Platform operation, availability and functionality

Worldy will try as much as possible to keep the Platform accessible at all times, however it cannot guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Access to the Platform may be temporarily suspended, without notice, due to technical maintenance, updating or due to interruptions or limitations related to network operation.

Liability limitations

Worldy, within the limits of the legislation in force, is liable for damages of a contractual and extra-contractual nature to Users or third parties only when these are an immediate and direct consequence, for willful misconduct or gross negligence, of Worldy's activity. The User expressly exonerates and releases the Application Owner from any liability, within the limits established by applicable law, in relation to damages or losses deriving from interruptions or malfunctions of the Worldy Platform, of the website www.beworldy.com and of the application. Worldy Experiences, as well as damages and / or losses due to force majeure or unforeseen and unforeseeable events and, in any case, independent of the will and beyond the control of the Owner, such as, but not limited to, breakdowns or interruptions of the power lines, of the Internet connection and / or other means of transmission, inaccessibility of websites, strikes, natural disasters, viruses and computer attacks, interruptions in the supply of products, services or third-party applications. Under no circumstances can Worldly be held responsible for damage caused by the User to third parties due to incorrect, unauthorized and / or illegal access and / or use of the Platform, as well as from access and / or use of the services available through the platform itself.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions

Worldy reserves the right to make changes to these Terms at any time and for the reasons it deems most appropriate for purposes related to the dissemination of the service. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be published on the Platform and the User will be notified before they come into force. The User who decides to continue to use the services offered by Worldy following the modification (s) of one or more parts of the same made by Worldy, will automatically accept the new Terms.

Applicable law and competent court

These Terms and Conditions are regulated by Italian law and are subject to Italian jurisdiction. All disputes regarding the execution, interpretation and validity of this contract are subject to Italian law. The parties undertake to make a prior attempt at conciliation, by means of a communication to be sent to the addresses of Worldy, containing the details regarding the controversial issue.
